Nature & Survival Skills Summer Camp

making fire

Come explore and have fun in nature while learning about traditional survival skills and our local environment. Through games and hands-on activities, campers will learn new skills, such as creating fire by friction, building shelters, making natural tools, tracking animals, and moving silently through the forest. We will finish the week with an overnight at Green Oaks Creek Farm. Throughout the week, campers will also have fun, make new friends, build a closer relationship with the natural world, and gain self-confidence in the outdoors. This program is for children ages 9-11. To learn more about Standing Tree Nature School’s other programs for kids and teens, visit: www.standingtreenatureschool.org
