Natural Science Illustration for Kids

Natural Science Illustration for Kids- picture of participants.

Join us for a fun-filled day of art activities.  Students will encounter a variety of natural objects, and will receive instruction and lessons in drawing techniques not otherwise taught in formal art programs including: methods for creating realistic drawings, quick sketching, techniques for capturing shapes, forms, texture, mood and ways to think more creatively.

General: $55

Ages: 10- 14


About the Instructor

Christine Elder holds a graduate certificate in Scientific Illustration from UC Santa Cruz, and a Master's degree in Biology from Humboldt State.  She has taught art and illustration for the Santa Cruz Cultural Council, Marin County Youth Arts Program, and the Rocky Mountain Biological Station.
