Volunteering your time and energy is one of the many ways you can support the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History. We offer an interesting and enriching experience for all ages, talents and skill levels. Opportunities

Our main long-term opportunities are being a docent and working at the front desk. Both of these positions require training, which we provide 3-4 times a year. These are very rewarding opportunities, but because of the training involved we ask that volunteer be willing to commit to one year of service. |
If you are looking for one-day events or can’t commit to a regular schedule, we have plenty of opportunities including gardening, caring for our live animals, maintaining exhibits and helping at special events. Whatever your schedule, we have a volunteer position here for you. |
