We offer an interesting and enriching experience for all ages, talents and skill levels. Volunteer Opportunities

	Docent Lead school tours in the museum and in natural areas. Interests & Skills: Education, outreach, nature, history, mentorship Availability: Weekdays and occasional weekends Time Commitment: 1 year of service, 2-4 hours per month (plus occasional trainings and enrichments) Docent Training Information
	Internship Support Museum goals and earn school credit while learning valuable skills. Interests & Skills: Education, outreach, communications, graphic design, nature, history, project management, gardening, etc... Availability: Weekdays and occasional weekends Time Commitment: 1 school term (quarter or trimester), 6-10 hours per week
	Front Desk Volunteer Welcome visitors and help in the Museum store. Interests & Skills: Greeting, informal interpretation, secretarial Availability: Weekdays Time Commitment: 1 year of service, 2-4 hours per month (plus initial training)
	Museum Host Provide informal interpretation of artifacts in the Museum and local geology and ecology outside. Interests & Skills: Greeting, informal interpretation, education, outreach, nature, history Availability: Saturdays Time Commitment: 6 months of service, 2-4 hours per month (plus initial training)
	Garden Volunteer Help maintain the Museum's demonstration gardens and pollinator gardens. Interests & Skills: Gardening, botany, horticulture, biology, plant and pollinator interactions Availability: 4th Friday of the Month 3:30 - 4pm Time Commitment: 1 hour per month or more
	Exhibits, Special Events, One-time Volunteering Offer help in a variety of ways, or be on-call for specific tasks. Join our Volunteer Bulletin email list to learn about upcoming opportunities.
