To enhance student learning through the Neary Lagoon Program, we offer a variety of resources for your use in the classroom.

NEW! Neary Lagoon Education Kit

This kit features directions and materials for age appropriate wetlands activities which meet CA state content standards for Science and Social Science. The kit also includes:

Local bird identification and natural history cards
Bill Nye the Science Guy's Wetlands DVD
Common Bird Songs of Neary Lagoon audio CD
Two books on Wetlands.

The kits are available to teachers participating in the Wetland Walk Program, and will be provided to you at the classroom presentation. Teachers return the kit on the day of their field trip to Neary Lagoon.

Neary Lagoon Teacher Resource Packet

The teacher resource packet pre-dates our Education Kit and contains background information on wetland science and a variety of suggested pre- and post trip activities.
