Super Summer Saturdays

Be sure to check individual listings as program times vary slightly.  We hope to see you at the Museum this summer!

 

Live animals, music and craft activities for kids and families!

Kids must be accompanied by an adult.

Adults pay museum admission ($1.50 seniors, $2.50 general)

June 28... Super Snakes DROP IN FROM 11 am- 2 pm

A show stealer-- learn all about these slithery snakes up close and personal.   

July 5... Beautiful Bats DROP IN FROM 11 am- 2 pm

Check out the bats from the CA Bat Conservation Fund's Education Program.

July 12... La Selva Canta!  TWO PERFORMANCES-- 11:30 am & 1 pm

Live musical celebration of rainforests to welcome our summer exhibit on the tropical forests of Barro Colorado Island in Panama.  Both performances in English and Spanish.       

July 19... Creepy Crawlies DROP IN FROM 11 am- 2 pm

Creeping and crawling insects and spiders with Classroom Safari.

July 26... Spirit of the Rainforest TWO PROGRAMS-- 11:30 am & 1pm

Join us for a live presentation of rainforest animals from around the world and learn how you can help protect them!
