Natural Science Illustration often captivates viewers with its stunning beauty.  At the heart of this appeal lies the illustrator's enthusiastic attentiveness to the natural world-- something anyone can attain.  This one-day workshop will introduce you to the visual and verbal tools for capturing your own alluring images of the colors, shapes, and stories of a day spent outdoors.

About the Instructor

Sarah Rabkin teaches writing in the Environmental Studies department at U.C. Santa Cruz, and leads outdoor workshops around the west.  She has a B.A. in Biology from Harvard University and a graduate certificate in Science Communication from U.C. Santa Cruz.
